[2023/10/25 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Gggggggggrrreeetings, adventurers, welcome to the den of the evilest Dungeon Mistress, Sonja the Slightly Sadistic. May your roll plenty of nat twenties... you'll be needing them... Mwah hah ha!!!

[2023/10/25 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Although badly in need of rest, the woodcutter assures you there will be no danger... indeed the path leads to a simple country cottage, with no sign of any threats or hazards.
[2023/10/25 16:17] Alicia Frakture: Leesha follows the path
[2023/10/25 16:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Is the Woodcutter coming with us?
[2023/10/25 16:17] Sonja Bikergrrl: No, he stays behind.
[2023/10/25 16:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: what you going to do?
[2023/10/25 16:19] Alicia Frakture: Go to the cottage
[2023/10/25 16:19] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): heads carefully towards the cottage
[2023/10/25 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: The cottage appears to be little more than a bedroom. A bedroom with a large fourposter bed, freshly made up.
[2023/10/25 16:21] Sonja Bikergrrl: Who's going to do what?
[2023/10/25 16:22] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): searches the room
[2023/10/25 16:22] Alicia Frakture: look in the bed and see if someone is there
[2023/10/25 16:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: The bed is made up and ready to sleep in, but no one is in it. The bedroom has a few drawers and tables and things with combs and stuff, as you'd see in any bedroom
[2023/10/25 16:24] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Hmmmmmmm. "Empty? Strange." Any other doors, or is it one bedroom? Debben bends over to check under the bed, just in case.
[2023/10/25 16:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: Just one bed in one bedroom, a few boxes and cases under the bed, nothing out of the ordinary.
[2023/10/25 16:24] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): is searching all over the room too
[2023/10/25 16:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: Nothing to see... of note, anyway, just an empty bed in a bedroom
[2023/10/25 16:26] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks at them." if you two don't want to I am gonna lay down. You okay with that?
[2023/10/25 16:26] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): sits on the edge of the bed and stretches relaxing a bit, "A very simple room, interesting"
[2023/10/25 16:26] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): "Totally fine with that "
[2023/10/25 16:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: The bed is a bit too small for Leesha to be comfy - but it seems just right for Dahlia
[2023/10/25 16:27] Alicia Frakture: Leesha shrugs and moves so Dahlia can lay down
[2023/10/25 16:28] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): looks a bit surprised and lays down on the bed
[2023/10/25 16:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "interesting? There's very little here."
[2023/10/25 16:29] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): "It's interesting that there is so little here "
[2023/10/25 16:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: The bed is very comfy for Dahlia - and as she lies down and gets comfy... we get that 80s wibbly wobbly effect and POP! You're back at the very start of things, the dark shadowy place with the hooded figure on a large rock. Only now, it's like sunrise as a golden glow suffuses the place, revealing the place to be a dense lush forest, and the figure on the rock draws back her hood, to reveal a pretty young blonde woman, with a sparkly crown on her head, the magic book "Grim Fairy Tales" on her lap.
[2023/10/25 16:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: "You broke my curse, too!" she says.
[2023/10/25 16:31] Alicia Frakture: Leesha just blinks
[2023/10/25 16:32] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): sits up and looks to the woman that appeared, "Yes curses were all broken"
[2023/10/25 16:32] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Do we all get transported or just Dhalia?
[2023/10/25 16:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Greetings, adventurers," she says. "I am Astrid, Queen of the Fey. And you are Dahlia, Leesha and Debben. I thank you for the tasks you have completed already."
[2023/10/25 16:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: (all of you are present and awake)
[2023/10/25 16:35] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me stands and looks to the Queen, "It is very nice to meet you"
[2023/10/25 16:35] Alicia Frakture: Um.. greetings your majesty. It is nice to meet you as well.
[2023/10/25 16:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: "You'll be richly rewarded for helping break the curses. There's but one left... I think you wished for... a horse and cart?"
[2023/10/25 16:40] Alicia Frakture: what one is there, and yeah a horse and a cart
[2023/10/25 16:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: "The last curse is the most powerful curse. When the magic book was threatened by the evil goblin, one of us took it and kept it safe. That one was cursed with a different form, and to forget their past. You'll need to meet the goblin in his lair, and persaude him to break the curse."
[2023/10/25 16:43] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): "we have to find its lair? Or is it easy to reach?"
[2023/10/25 16:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: "When you are ready, I can teleport you there magically."
[2023/10/25 16:46] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks to the others for clearance
[2023/10/25 16:47] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): looks to Leesha and Debben "ready to go", as she gets ready to travel
[2023/10/25 16:47] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben smiles, nodding to the previous wish for a horse and cart. It's possibly rather small of an ask at this point, but one does not attempt to haggle with a queen of the fae. That's just asking for trouble. "What might we know of the curses nature, so as to break it?"
[2023/10/25 16:48] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Other than it was cast by an evil and cunning goblin - not much else to tell. As for breaking the curse - I'm sure you know how to deal with evil goblins."
[2023/10/25 16:49] Alicia Frakture: Leesha taps her wrench in her hands and nods.
[2023/10/25 16:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: "But first, it seems you need a rest. I can help with that much, at least, before you go."
[2023/10/25 16:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: The Fey Queen, Astrid, spreads out her hands and mutters. Golden sparkles rain down around you.
[2023/10/25 16:50] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben considers this, "Indeed. In the case of an evil, curse-capable goblin, a chance to ready my own magic will improve my odds."
[2023/10/25 16:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: Everyone feels healthier, with clearer minds, and well-rested. (I.e., hit points, magic points and fatigue levels are all restored.)
[2023/10/25 16:52] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben even stands up a bit straighter as her energy is restored
[2023/10/25 16:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: And now you're ready for the final showdown of this fairy tale! But, as all good stories go... they have a cliffhanger to keep you coming back next time!
[2023/10/25 16:54] Alicia Frakture: Leesha makes sure the cobwebs are cleared as she stretches. "Okay, I'm ready."
[2023/10/25 16:54] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: with all these cliffhangers we really should start bringing rope and pitons
[2023/10/25 16:54] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): feeling much better enjoys the renewed energy and speaks, "Ready to go as well"
[2023/10/25 16:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: indeed... you probably should!
